Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 250°F.
- Line a baking sheet with tinfoil.
- In a small bowl, combine the dry rub ingredients: paprika, black pepper, brown sugar, coarse salt, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, chili powder, and dry mustard.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the country style boneless ribs and sprinkle the rub mixture over them. Toss to coat evenly.
- Place the coated ribs in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet and cover with another layer of tinfoil.
Cooking
- Bake the ribs in the oven for 2 hours.
- While baking, mix together the BBQ sauce and honey.
- After 2 hours, take the ribs out of the oven and baste with the BBQ sauce mixture.
- Return the ribs to the oven for an additional 30 to 60 minutes, checking for tenderness after 30 minutes.
- Once done, remove the ribs from the oven and baste them again with BBQ sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For more flavor, marinate the ribs in the rub overnight. Use a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 190°F for perfect tenderness. Broil for a few minutes after glazing if extra crispiness is desired.
