Ingredients

For the Dressing Base
  • ¾ cup milk Skim milk is ideal, or whole milk for a thicker consistency.
  • ¾ cup Greek yogurt Using fat-free keeps it light without sacrificing flavor.
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice Provides a zesty kick.
For Flavoring
  • 2 tsp Dried Chives Offers a mild onion-like flavor.
  • 2 tsp Dried Dill Brings a distinct aroma and herby depth.
  • 1 tsp Dried Parsley Balances the flavors and adds color.
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder Adds warmth and depth.
  • ½ tsp Onion Powder Enhances savory notes.
  • ¼ tsp salt Essential for flavor.
  • ⅛ tsp black pepper Adds a hint of spice.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt and milk until smooth.
  2. Add the seasonings (dried chives, dill, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper) to the yogurt and milk mixture. Whisk again to combine thoroughly until no lumps remain.
  3. Incorporate the lemon juice into the mixture and whisk once more to achieve a tangy flavor.
  4. Cover the bowl or pour the dressing into a jar for storage until ready to use.
  5. Shake or stir before use to ensure all ingredients are well mixed.
Serving
  1. Enjoy the dressing drizzled over salads or as a dip for your favorite snacks.

Notes

For a different twist, add a dash of hot sauce for a spicy kick. Fresh herbs can elevate the flavor even more. For a thicker dressing, reduce the amount of milk.
