Ingredients

For the Sliders
  • 12 pieces slider or dinner rolls Soft and pillowy rolls
  • 1 lb roast beef deli meat Tender, thinly sliced
  • 12 slices provolone cheese Creamy and slightly nutty
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter (melted) For brushing on the rolls
For the Horseradish Sauce
  • 1/2 cup prepared horseradish For a robust kick
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise For creaminess
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice To brighten the flavor
  • 1/2-1 tsp Worcestershire sauce To deepen the umami taste
  • 1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper Adds a hint of spice
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt Enhances the ingredients

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the horseradish sauce by mixing the prepared horseradish, mayonnaise, fresh lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, ground pepper, and kosher salt. Whisk it all together until smooth and taste for seasoning.
Assembly
  1. In a 9×13 baking dish, place the bottom half of the slider rolls and spread half of the horseradish sauce evenly over the rolls.
  2. Layer about six slices of provolone cheese over the sauce.
  3. Top with the roast beef, folding and layering the meat on each roll.
  4. Drizzle the remaining horseradish sauce over the beef and add the remaining slices of cheese on top. Close the sliders by placing the roll tops over the cheese.
Baking
  1. Brush the assembled sliders with the melted butter.
  2. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  3. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 5 to 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for a stronger kick in your sauce. You can assemble the sliders a few hours before baking. Consider adding sautéed onions or caramelized peppers for extra flavor.
