Method

Preparation
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente.
  2. During the last two minutes of the cooking time, add the chopped broccoli florets.
  3. Once cooked, drain the pasta and broccoli using a colander and set aside.
Cooking the Chicken
  1. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-size pieces, about ½ inch.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the chicken pieces and season with all-purpose seasoning and freshly ground black pepper.
  4. Sauté the chicken until cooked through and lightly golden, about 5-7 minutes. Transfer to a plate and keep warm.

  1. In the same skillet, wipe it clean and add butter over medium-low heat.
  2. Once melted, add minced garlic and cook for about one minute, stirring until fragrant.
  3. Whisk in the flour, cooking for 1-2 minutes until it forms a paste.
  4. Gradually add milk (or half-and-half), whisking constantly until the mixture thickens into a sauce.
  5. Reduce the heat to low and stir in garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  6. Remove from heat and mix in grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Combining Ingredients
  1. Add cooked pasta, broccoli, and sautéed chicken back into the skillet.
  2. Toss everything together until well coated with the creamy sauce.
  3. Garnish with remaining Parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

For an extra flavor boost, marinate the chicken in olive oil and lemon juice before cooking. Consider adding red pepper flakes for subtle heat. You can use rotisserie chicken to save time.
