Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 whole corn on the cob Fresh, sweet corn is essential for that mouthwatering taste and crunch.
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (salted) Adds richness, enhancing every bite.
  • to taste softened butter (salted) Velvety butter will be slathered on after grilling.
  • to taste finely chopped parsley (optional) Adds a fresh, aromatic touch.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your BBQ (grill side) until it’s very hot.
  2. Peel the husk off the corn to reveal the juicy kernels inside.
Grilling
  1. Place the corn directly on the BBQ, no oil needed.
  2. Cook the corn for about 10 minutes, turning it every couple of minutes until you see charred bits.
  3. In the final minute, brush the corn with melted butter and roll it around to ensure even coating.
Serving
  1. Transfer the grilled corn to a platter, serve with softened butter and sprinkle with parsley if desired.

Notes

For added flavor, try different types of butter like garlic herb or chili lime. To avoid overcooked kernels, start checking for tenderness a few minutes before the estimated grilling time.
