Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 packages little smokies (14-ounces per package) Juicy and packed with flavor, ideal for satisfying cravings.
  • 1.5 cups sugar-free Hickory BBQ sauce Provides a smoky, tangy flavor without added sugars.
  • 0.5 cup golden monk fruit (or brown sugar monk fruit or other brown sugar alternative sweetener) Mimics the caramel-like flavor of traditional brown sugar.
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce Adds a touch of umami that layers the flavors beautifully.
  • 0.5 teaspoon liquid smoke Adds a deliciously deep smokiness to the dish.

Method

Preparation
  1. Combine the sugar-free Hickory BBQ sauce, monk fruit sweetener, and Worcestershire sauce in your slow cooker, mixing well until combined.
  2. Pour the little smokies into the slow cooker, gently stirring to coat each sausage evenly with the sauce.
  3. Cover the slow cooker and set it to low heat. Allow the little smokies to cook for about 1-2 hours, stirring once or twice.

Notes

Keep the slow cooker on the warm setting when serving. You can spice it up with cayenne or red pepper flakes, and alternative sweeteners like stevia or erythritol can be used in place of monk fruit.
