Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 12 oz fresh cranberries Juicy and tart, these vibrant berries form the base of the sauce.
  • 1 cup water Essential for cooking the cranberries into a soft and mellow sauce.
  • 1/3 cup sugar-free sweetener (allulose preferred) This creamy alternative adds sweetness without the calories.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract Aromatic and rich, it enhances the flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the fresh cranberries, allulose sweetener, and water. Ensure all ingredients are evenly mixed together.
  2. Cook over medium-high heat, bringing the mixture to a boil, while watching as the cranberries start popping.
  3. Cook until all the cranberries have burst and the mixture has thickened, about 15 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat, then stir in the vanilla extract to complete the sauce.

Notes

Use fresh cranberries for best flavor, but frozen ones can work if thawed and drained. Adjust sweetness to taste, and consider adding a pinch of salt for enhanced flavor.
