Ingredients

Fresh Produce
  • 2 pieces fresh peaches Ripe, juicy, and fragrant.
  • 1 piece red bell pepper Crunchy and vibrant.
  • 1 large tomato Juicy and refreshing.
  • 1 piece jalapeño For those who like a kick.
  • 1/2 piece sweet onion Aromatic and slightly sweet.
  • 1 piece lime Juiced for brightness.
  • to taste salt Essential seasoning.
  • to taste pepper Essential seasoning.
  • to taste chopped cilantro For garnish.

Method

Preparation
  1. Wash all fresh produce thoroughly. Pit and chop the peaches, dice the red bell pepper, chop the tomato, and finely slice the jalapeño (remove seeds for less heat). Lastly, dice the sweet onion.
Mixing
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all the prepared ingredients: chopped peaches, bell pepper, tomato, jalapeño, and sweet onion.
Flavoring
  1. Squeeze the juice from one lime over the mixture to add zesty flavor.
Seasoning
  1. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the mixture, starting with a pinch of each. Taste and adjust as needed.
Garnishing
  1. Toss in chopped cilantro for a refreshing finish. Enjoy immediately or cover and chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.

Notes

For extra flavor, roast jalapeño and red bell pepper before adding to the salsa, and consider adding a finely minced clove of garlic sparingly.
